Main Hitting and Catching Instructor
Gabby began her collegiate softball career at Niagara University as a 3rd basemen for the Purple Eagles. She graduated with her Bachelors in Communication and over back home to Syracuse, NY to pursue her MBA while coaching the Le Moyne College Dolphins Softball team as a graduate Assistant Coach. She currently is on her 6th year as a hitting, defense and catching instructor at Hazen’s Athletic Center.
Hitting and Fielding Instructor
Kelly attended Westhill High School 2009-2013. While attending high school, she was a four-time first team all-CNY player, received all-state and player of the league awards. After graduating, she continued her education at University at Buffalo from 2013-2014 then transferred to Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY from 2014-2017 where she led the team in home runs and was top 3 in RBI’s and batting average. Kelly Graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and is looking to continue her education. She is currently on her 1st year as a hitting/defensive instructor and 14U coach for Hazen’s Athletic Center.
Kalet started pitching at the age of 13 and was instructed by the owner Heidi Hazen-Forte. After graduating from Cicero North Syracuse in 2013, Kalet continued her athletic and education career at Edinboro University, division two. In 2015, Kalet was awarded 2nd All Team in the PSAC conference. Kalet is currently continuing her education at Le Moyne College in the master’s program, working as the softball Graduate assistant. Kalet works mainly with the pitchers at LeMoyne College. Hazen's is proud to have Kalet in her third year as an instructor.
Toni graduated Westhill High school in 2011, where she led her team to the sectional championship in 2009 earning all-CNY awards. Toni continued her education and athletic career at Herkimer County Community College where she was a two-time Regional Champion (2013/2014) and a National Champion (2014). While attending HCCC, Toni was named First Team Member, All Region Award at Regional Tournament (2013), All Tournament Team and Outstanding Pitcher at the National Tournament & World Series (2013), Mountain Valley All-Conference Team (2014), NJCAA All-Region team (2014), and NJCAA All-American Team (2014). After receiving her Associates of Liberal Arts in General Studies at HCCC, she transferred to Le Moyne College where she led her team to the Regional Tournament and was awarded ECAC Pitcher of the Week. Toni graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Marketing and is pursuing her Masters in Operations and Project Management through Southern New Hampshire University. She is currently on her 2nd year as a pitching instructor and 14U coach for Hazen’s Athletic Center.
Hitting, Slap Hitting, Fielding & Catching
Johnson graduated magna cum laude in three years from Syracuse University in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in Communications and Rhetorical Studies. The following year, she received a master’s in Sport Venue and Event Management from Syracuse. She was a member of the National Society of College Scholars, part of Lambda Pi Eta-National Honor Society
During her undergraduate career at Syracuse, Johnson was a member of the softball program. She appeared in 71 games for the Orange and drew 51 starting assignments. She recorded 20 runs batted in, scored 13 runs and posted a .260 batting average on balls in play (BABIP). For her efforts in the classroom, Johnson was selected to the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) All-Academic Team. She was the President of the University’s chapter of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. As a graduate student, Johnson assisted the coaching staff in conducting practices and preparing team on game days, while also organizing scouting reports and managing student-athlete schedules and prospective student-athlete database.
